Abstract:

This unit presents the three main sorts of optical fiber sensors, which are intensity modulation, phase modulation and polarization modulation. We will study in detail each sort in a section. We will notably describe theoretical aspects and the most frequently used assemblies. We will eventually give some examples of applications of these sensors. s.
